      • Teams need to see me individually to agree on the project/paper.

  • Course News, check twice a week
    • Before you sign up for the course, you must present to me a one page pre-proposal on the project you anticipate to build for the course.
  • HW/SW Project Track
    • You can build/purchase your own HW/SW and use the lab space to assemble your project, or
    • You can use any hardware and software available in the lab:
      • Hardware:
        • PC 104 Form SBC Station: Standard PC bus expansion adapters, DAQ, Sound, Modem, Internet, SSD,... add-ons
        • Pentium SBC Open-Frame Station: Touch Screen, Wireless Telemetry Through RS232, Modem and Internet Ready
        • National Instruments DAQ System (Parallel Port): 8 12-bit Analog Inputs, 2 12-bit Analog Outputs, 24 Digital I/Os, 2 16-bit counters
        • National Instruments DAQ System (Serial Port): 3 12-bit Analog Inputs, 1 12-bit Analog Outputs, 24 Digital I/Os, 1 16-bit counters
        • Z-World Microcontrollers: PK1200, PK1500, PK2200
        • Parallax Stamp Controllers Stations: Basic Stamp I, Basic Stamp II, PIC Controllers
        • Fast Prototyping Station: XILINX FPGA Evaluation Board, Universal Chip Programmer
        • Do not modify any hardware setup without my permission.
      • Software:
        • Microsoft Windows 95, 98, NT
        • Microsoft Visual Studio Suite
